The Tulsa Reining Classic presented by Kimes Ranch has announced Markel Insurance as sponsor of the novice horse derby open and non pro divisions at an event scheduled for August 29-September 5 at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square.

The Markel Insurance Novice Horse Derby features the $7,500 Novice Horse Open Derby which runs concurrently with the Elementa Open Derby. The Markel Insurance $2,500 Novice Horse Non Pro Derby runs concurrently with the Colston Paving-Not Ruf At All Non Pro Derby. Novice horses must have earned less than $25,000 as of January 1, 2021.
