Oklahoma Equine Hospital Kids night is a favorite for spectators and competitors alike at the Tulsa Reining Classic, but in 2018, there is even more reason for excitement! On Saturday, September 1, the evening will begin with the Youth Lead Line and then feature the 10 & Under Walk Trot class to showcase very young riders.
After those two classes, there is even more excitement when the bouncy horses are brought into the Mustang Arena and a new set of mini-reiners takes center stage. The 2018 Kids Time kids will then have their time to shine as they compete on the first-ever Tulsa Reining Classic Pony Hop. The riders will go in multiple racing heats. Then when it is narrowed down to the top two, they will compete against their parents for the over-all grand championship Pony Hop title.
Come out and cheer these young riders on with their real horses and be sure to sponsor a few in the bouncy horse race for the good of Rein In Cancer. All proceeds will go directly to cancer patients who are part of the horse industry.
At the Tulsa Reining Classic, the Tulsa Kids’ Time meets daily from 1 to 4 pm and is administered by Beth Bouley. Tulsa Kids’ Time is sponsored this year by Equine Promotion.
Rein in Cancer is a 501c3 Non Profit Corporation that, to-date, has raised over a million dollars. The organization has no employees – only volunteers – and over 98% of donated funds have gone directly to helping cancer patients.
