Graves Dominates Green Rider Levels 1 and 2

(Tulsa, Okla., Aug. 31, 2016) – The Tulsa Reining Classic, held at Expo Square Aug. 29 – Sept. 4 had an impressive day Wednesday, part of which included impressive runs from riders in the Green Levels 1 and 2 held in the Mustang Arena.

Jeff Graves riding Wrangler Dance took home his first career win in the Green Rider Levels 1 and 2 with a score of 70.50.

Graves has owned the 7-year-old mare for about a year and the Tulsa Reining Classic is only her fifth show. She’s by Starlights Wrangler out of Hollywood Two Step. For the duo sharing a fairly young career Graves is happy with their showing.

“The run started off well and then I had a few bobbles there at the end, but I got through it,” Graves said. “I feel great [about the win].”

With a win under his belt and a paycheck in his pocket Graves is leaving Tulsa excited about the future of his and his mare’s future.

Second place in the Green Rider Level 1 was Kelly Warner riding Hes Throwing Smoke who is by Colonels Smoking Gun and out of Darlins Not Painted.

Second place in the Green Rider Level 2 was Blair Williamson riding Luv A Lil Trouble who is by Lil Ruf Trouble and out of A Lotta Dun It.
